1. Referrals are great — and you can't switch them on or off
At a regional provider, a subscriber who arrives by referral usually arrives more confident and without ad spend. But referrals grow at the pace of your current subscribers: you don't decide how many requests come in each month, or from which neighborhood.
When you light up a new area, add capacity or have an idle installation crew, waiting for referrals is waiting for luck. What you can control are the channels you can switch on, adjust and measure: local ads, your neighborhood's Google listing, WhatsApp replies and outreach to businesses.
A ten-minute exercise: take your last 20 new subscribers and write next to each name how they found you — referral, ad, Google, walked into the shop, called, WhatsApp. If most have no answer, that is the first problem: you don't know where your growth comes from.
The guide goes on — leave your email to read it all:
- 🔒 2. Advertise only where you have coverage — and count requests, not clicks
- 🔒 3. Know where each request came from — and protect the budget
- 🔒 4. Reply fast and end with the visit booked
- 🔒 5. Be found on your neighborhood's Google
- 🔒 6. Keep your base and open up the businesses in your city
